Henry IV and the Bourbon Royal Family
The box appears to date between 1814 and 1822 between the Bourbon restoration and the assassination of the duc de Berry. Youngest son of the comte d'Artois, Berry is the first on the left in the bottom row, then his wife, who was was pregnant with the last of the Bourbon line when he was killed. Bottom right is his elder brother the duc 'Angouleme, the childless husband of his first cousin. She, the duchesse, is the middle figure in the top row,and was the only surviving child of Louis XVI. She is flanked by her two uncles, Artois (later Charles X) on the left, and Louis XVIII on the right.
