Bowcher, a figure of Peace stands over Britannia and France, LONDON MDCCCV111, rev. female figure standing beside a plinth with exhibition buildings in the distance, FRANCO BRITISH EXHIBITION, Messrs. The firm was based around Farringdon Street specialising in medical and laboratory glass. They were originally immigrants from Norway and were involved with a glass works in Gottenberg. The firm subsequently moved to Charlton.
