Henri, Comte de Chambord, (1820-1883), as the Pretender to the French throne he assumed the title, Henri V.
As the grandson of King Charles X, Henri was a Petit-Fils de France. He also was the last legitimate Bourbon descendant in the male line of Louis XV, a line which disapeared on his death in 1883.
Henri was the only son of Charles Ferdinand, Duc de Berry, born seven months after his father's assassination.
The Duc was assassinated at the Paris Opera by an anti- royal Bonapartist.
