Lord Thurlow and William Pitt
Edward Thurlow, first Baron Thurlow, ( 1731- - 1806). At the time of the first health crisis of George 111 in 1789, Thurlow intrigued with the Prince of Wales against Pitt and then had to backtrack following his recovery. Consequently he was forced to resign in 1792. Fox described his as, " No man could as wise as Thurlow looked."
